Face to Face Appointments at Level 1 - Our New Normal

Please read the important information below about consultations at Level 1 and how to book. It is important that you do not make an appointment if you have had or been exposed to anyone who has had any of the following:

  • Sore throat, cough, fever, runny nose, loss of taste or smell in the last 14 days

  • Travelled overseas in the last 14 days

  • Been asked to self isolate in the last 14 days

Thank-you for your support with the continuing challenges that COVID-19 brings and the way that it affects how appointments can take place at About Faces Physiotherapy. We have been informed by the NZ Physiotherapy Board and Ministry of Heath, that we will still need to continue with Health Screening and Contact Tracing everyone who comes on site (both patients and support people/children). At Level 1 our new normal includes:

  • Continuing TeleHealth Consults online for those that would prefer this option or for whom traveling here may be difficult. More information on how the TeleHealth Consults work is available here.

  • Please postpone if you have been unwell in any way in the last 14 days (you won't be charged for this)

  • MOH and The Physiotherapy Board have stated that we still need to complete health screening for all patients so please still read the email reminder (sent 24 hours prior to your appointment) and email back to confirm you are coming and that you have answered the pre-screening questions.

  • We have provided a NZ COVID Tracer App QR code so please scan in as you enter

  • When you enter the clinic please continue to use the hand sanitiser at the entrance

  • You do not need to wear a mask at level 1, however you're welcome to bring one and wear it if you'd like to

  • Sometimes Physios may be wearing masks for your protection, espcially in situations where we can't physically distance such as when treating jaw problems

  • We'll still be cleaning all surfaces after each patient so please bear with us if we are running a little late

  • Continuing to use contactless payment as our preferred payment option

  • If you find out that you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please let us know ASAP so that we can follow appropriate contact tracing procedures
